Donna MacLeod from 12pm-2pm

Donna MacLeod’s passion for writing has been a lifelong pursuit, fueled by the inspiration received from her college journalism professor. Even though she was a business major, her love for creative writing evolved, and after penning a book on personal loss in 2009, her desire for creative writing continued to grow. This led her to write this book intended to educate young children on the differences between people and the importance of acceptance.While working with children as a substitute teacher when her own children were young, she witnessed bullying in the classroom. This inspired her to create Chili Chinchilla, a beautiful but different chinchilla. In todays world, it’s more important than ever to teach children to accept those who appear to be different. Donna has three grown children and three grandchildren. She resides in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where she is retired from a career in real estate, sales, and management.

Nicki MacKinnon from 2pm-4pm

Nicki MacKinnon is a creative soul with a love for all things education and exploration. She believes that learning continues long past the classroom and that some of the most important lessons are those learned through play and experimentation, even as an adult.

Nicki enjoys sharing her passions and lessons with her son, Jameson, but more importantly aims to help him cultivate his own. In writing ‘A Little Piece of the Big Picture’ she demonstrates an important lesson learned from her late grandfather and bridges the gap between generations in the form of literature. 

Mayflower Brewing Company – America’s Hometown Brewery® - is a craft beer microbrewery located in historic Plymouth, Massachusetts. In season, they set up shop at The Pinehills Village Green. Mayflower’s operating hours will be from 12-6pm.
